Life as I know it.: OK......

youlivewhereidream:

Need some help from my followers. Were having some issues with our oldest daughter…She’s 8. A few months ago, we took her to the doctor because she was throwing up daily….The doctor said Acid Reflux. The meds were not helping…she was still throwing up daily….then we caught her with her finger down…

Im reblogging because my reply was alittle to long…

I developed balima at 12, its something I struggle with every day, get her in to therapy, to see a doctor and nutritionist, talk to her but be supportive. If she believes shes fat telling her she isnt wont help on its own. Teach her that if she thinks shes fat the way to control her weight is to eat these types of foods, at least then shes eating, get her to exercise, swimming ect builds tone, its also something you have to have energy to do, you have to eat. Lastly alot of it is about control. Its not always about weight, or just weight, the times I’ve always struggled the most is when I was stressed or felt I had no control over my life or surroundings. It may not be the answer, but finding a way to give her control over other aspects of her life could stop her need to control her food input and output by making herself sick.
